This parasite lives in various regions of Latin America.\nHow do you catch it?\n\nThrough the bite of an insect known as triatomine bug, or “kissing bug”\nFrom mother to baby in pregnancy and birth (vertical transmission).\n\nOne out of three infected people will develop cardiac or intestinal disease.
