Many people carry it for years without symptoms, yet if left untreated, it can cause heart and digestive problems over time. The good news is that a simple finger-prick point-of-care test can detect it.\nAt this drop-in, we offer free, confidential testing. Anyone born in Mexico, Central America, or South America, or whose mother was born there, can take a one-off test, even if you feel completely healthy. Both testing and treatment are free in the UK.\nNo appointment is needed; testing is on a first-come, first-served basis.
