Who We Are
IRMO (Indoamerican Refugee and Migrant Organisation) works to enable the development, agency, and participation of Latin Americans and other Spanish and Portuguese speakers, by responding to both immediate needs and structural inequalities. We offer high-quality information and advice services, opportunities for development and training, and a platform to seek social and systemic change.

Your personal information is stored securely by IRMO and will not be kept for longer than is necessary. Standard retention periods are as follows:
- Advice case files: 6 years
- Personnel files: 5 years
- Project monitoring: 2–3 years (depending on the need for long-term monitoring)
We request explicit consent for storing photos.
Will we share your personal information?
IRMO treats your personal data as confidential and will only share it with third parties with your knowledge and consent. We may share data with:
- Organisations involved in providing services or advice (e.g., local councils, other charities)
- Professional advisers and auditors
- Regulatory authorities, courts, tribunals, government agencies, and law enforcement agencies (when required by law)
We may share your data without notice if there are significant concerns about your safety or the safety of others.
Your Data Protection Rights
Under data protection law, you have the following rights:

When visitors leave comments on our website, we collect the data shown in the ”Contact us” section. Visitors can download and extract location data from images on the website.
