Our employment support programme provides mentoring sessions to assist with CVs, job searches, personal statements and interview preparation.
Build Your Future
The Build Your Future (BYF) offers personalised guidance through mentoring sessions in Spanish or English to support young people with developing essential skills, boosting employability, and unlocking meaningful career opportunities.
The BYF project is open to individuals aged 16 to 24 who are:
– Not currently in education
– Not employed
– Living in Lambeth or Southwark
– Eligible to work in the UK or are an asylum seeker
Focusing on supporting young Latin American migrants and Asylum Seekers, our programme has become a great support in their transition from their home country into the new environment.
Employment Support
Our Employment, Training and Education area offers a Drop-in Employment Advisory service providing one-to-one sessions with users to support CV writing and tailoring, job search, job applications and interview skills, among others. This service is available in Spanish, Portuguese and English, both online and in-person.
We also host workshops in our Community Coffee Morning space once a month regarding Employment (NIN, Payslips and budgeting, contracts, employment rights and others), Education and Training.
