Our employment support programme provides mentoring sessions to assist with CVs, job searches, personal statements and interview preparation.
Build Your Future
The Build Your Future Programme, funded by United Kingdom Shared Prosperity Fund and delivered in partnership with High Trees, Juvenis, Rathbone and Spiral Skills, is a one-to-one mentoring programme for Young People living in Lambeth or Southwark, aged 16 to 24 that are not currently in employment or education.
The programme focuses on developing a life plan that includes all the elements surrounding the preparation and support to successfully access education or employment. We also support the participants in strengthening their life skills and their social development and guide them in their exploration for potential life paths and aspirations.
Focusing on supporting young Latin American migrants, our programme has become a great support in their transition from their home country into the new environment.
Employment Support
Our Employment, Training and Education area offers an advisory service with an HR expert that has one-to-one sessions with users and guides them on how to improve and strengthen their CV, job search, job application and interview skills. This service requires basic English skills.
We also host workshops regarding general information for employment (NIN, Payslips and budgeting, contracts, employment rights and others).
Our goal is to support users to familiarise themselves with what to expect and how to access different job opportunities in the UK.
