We are recruiting for the second cohort of our Advice Workforce Development Programme, delivered in partnership with The Baytree Centre, High Trees, LAWRS and Southwark Law Centre. Through this initiative, we aim to train and develop new advisers to help address the lack of accessible immigration advice for marginalised communities. 

Alongside our incredible partners—The Baytree Centre, High Trees, LAWRS and Southwark Law Centre—IRMO is recruiting for the second cohort of our Advice Workforce Development Programme. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience, build your skills and access a pathway into a career in advice services.

The Community Support team acts as the main point of contact for the Latin American​ community and IRMO, where we identify their needs and enquiries, triage the support and​ services to be allocated and share relevant information. The Welcome Area plays a key role​ in the daily operations of the organisation; offering a range of support services, which​ include interpreting, referrals and signposting, broadcast of information and events,​ amongst others.

As an Education Advice Caseworker Assistant, you will support the Family Support Worker in
their work to advise families on issues relating to schooling and child wellbeing.
You will be supporting Latin American families with children (mainly Spanish- speakers) aged
5-19 years old, who have recently migrated to the UK and are not yet in school or have only
just started.
