Access to Education
We are dedicated to ensuring that every child in the UK has the chance to succeed, with equal access to education and the necessary support to thrive.
Advice and Advocacy
We offer advice, information and practical support to help migrant children access education in the UK. This includes workshops for parents and carers, assistance with school applications and helping parents advocate for their children by working with schools and local authorities.
Civic Participation and Influence
Our project seeks to remove barriers that prevent migrant children from accessing education. We strengthen civic participation and community involvement by providing community organising training for parents, carers and young people. We also work with schools, local authorities and decision-makers to influence policies and shift attitudes in admission practices.

My son had been out of school for two months and was diagnosed with depression. He had no friends and nothing to do. The school admission process took a long time, but without IRMO’s support, it would have taken even longer. Thanks to their help, my son is now a happy child, and I’m very grateful.

We offer support both in person at our Lambeth centre and online, with services available in Spanish, Portuguese, and English.
